Gmail Users on windows 10 mail app complained that they're facing issues where their emails are becoming deleted and attachment on emails is disappearing.
Windows 10 users who have synced the mail app with their Gmail account are reportedly facing problems with the app. While some users reported that the app has silently been deleting their emails. Various users have also mentioned that it's moving the sent email items to the spam folder. There also are some users who face issues with the Outlook app on both Windows and Mac devices. Microsoft is yet to supply any official statement on an equivalent .
Issues on Windows 10 Mail App
As per the reports on the Microsoft Community forums, the problems with the Mail app have struck an outsized number of Gmail users. Multiple users have said about an equivalent issue on the company’s forums, as reported by MSPowerUser. There are reviews on the Microsoft Store which show issues within the Gmail integration within the latest version of the Mail app. “It’s nice but doesn’t work alright with Gmail as I can’t see attachments of an equivalent ,” said one user on the Microsoft Store.
Affected users have found a short-lived workaround by creating a replacement filter. Where the emails won't be sent to the spam folder directly. The workaround only works if emails are moving to the spam folder. It fails for users who reported the sudden deletion of their emails.
How to fix these issues?
If you’re facing an equivalent problem, so you only got to fix these issues as soon as possible. you'll want to delete the Gmail account from the mail app and re-add it. you'll also create filters to stop certain emails from automatically getting diverted to the spam folder.
Meanwhile, Google is adding a replacement quick setting menu to it’s Gmail service which will give its users a simple thanks to customize their email inbox in terms of layout, setting, and themes. The feature are going to be available to all or any G Suite customers also as users with personal accounts.
